Scotland Shine at European Championships

Big congratulations to Scotland's medal winners at the WKF Junior & U21 European Karate Championships, which were held in Limassol, Cyprus.

Elize Bauld - Gold in the Female Junior Kumite -66kg category
Cullen Brodie - Gold in the Male Cadet Kumite -70kg category
Julia Duff - Bronze in the Female Cadet Kumite -61kg category
Joe Gallagher - Bronze in the Male U21 Kumite -67kg category

These medals help Scotland place 9th in the overall medal table for these championships. A great effort - well done.

In Memorial - Mike Billman

The BKF is saddened to forward news of the sad passing of Mick Billman.

Mick was a former President of the English Karate Federation, former Chairman of the European Karate Federation Technical Committee, former member of the European Karate Federation Sports Commission and a member of the World Karate Federation Technical Committee.

The BKF offers its sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to his family at this sad time.
