October update on Dave Smith MBE

Today I visited Paralympic Gold Medallist Dave Smith MBE at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where Dave had undergone surgery to remove another tumour from his neck.

I am pleased to announce that the operation was successful and that Dave should soon be on the road to a full recovery, and then back on the bike to Rio.

Dave has been overwhelmed by the thoughts and good wishes that he has been bombarded with from the karate fraternity so,.........keep them coming! They are really giving him a boost.

I will keep you all updated as to his progress.
