BKF Achieves Tier 2 UK Sport Code for Sports Governance

The BKF President, Roger Williams, has today (15th Nov 2019) been informed that the British Karate Federation has successfully completed and now complies with Tier 2 of the UK Sport Code for Sports Governance.

Congratulations to the BKF President, the BKF Board and team involved for all their hard work in making this possible. This is a huge step forward for the BKF and we look forward to working more closely with UK Sport.

'Trail to Tokyo' UK Sport Aspiration Fund

The British Karate Federation are pleased to announce its Performance Programme supporting athletes on the ”Trail to Tokyo” utilising the investment award made to Karate from UK Sport, via the Aspiration Fund.

The Aspiration Fund, which was announced by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in October this year, aims to support sports who do not currently receive full UK Sport funding to develop plans to help teams and athletes realise ambitions for the Tokyo Games...
